Pycnoporellus alboluteus (Ellis & Everh.) Kotl. & Pouzar
Fruit body: cushion-shaped, from 5cm to 100cm across, at first bright orange-ochraceous to paler whitish-yellow with age. Upper surface is soft and spongy. Hymenium is made of tubes up to 2 cm. Pores are angular up to 1 cm across. During time pore surface erodes thus creating irregular spines like teeth.
Microscopy: spores widely ellipsoid, 6-9x2.5-4 µm, white en masse.
Flesh: thin, orange, turns red with KOH.
Habitat: on conifer logs.
Edibility: inedible.
