Rhodotus palmatus (Bull.) Maire
Fruit body: cap up to 15 cm, convex with incurved margin, with age wrinkled in a network pattern, salmon pink to peach, sometimes exuding red drops when young. Gills are emarginate, medium spaced, pale salmon pink. Stem is up to 7x1.5 cm, centric to eccentric, whitish to pale salmon pink.
Microscopy: spores globouse, 5.5—7x5—7 μm, pale pink en masse.
Flesh: hard, with a gelatinous layer under the cap skin. Smell fruity and taste bitter.
Habitat: on dead deciduous wood, especially elm (Ulmus). Very rare.
